A few pictures from my days working and three of Shay's little sleeping gown for camping. I always overpack because I don't want them to be cold, so this little wooly gown was prepared today from an old sweater and the pictures don't capture how he looks like a little Victorian baby (in black). The hat is even cuter, but the look wasn't captured.

For your viewing pleasure

Giggly little Soren

Shay's first word

Shay is getting more interested in talking.  This video was taken a couple of days ago and he has also said "water" and "diaper." He seems more interested in signing and we have developed a sign for "eat" because he couldn't do the "milk" sign, for whatever reason (he would pat my hand when he wanted it, but never produce the sign himself, now he pats his mouth and makes a noise and loves that we understand that).

The cuteness is on overload around here these days.

Flea market

Osha embroidering.

Soren and Shay felt crummy and angry. After trying everything short of taking them outside, I took this picture. Outside was the winner. They were asleep within 5 minutes of starting the car.

Two boys hanging in the shade at the flea market.

Three boys in the shade.

Osha and Ari trying to handcuff Sara.

Sick day

We all took turns feeling sick today. Shay and Sara were hardest hit. It made for a long day with some kooky pictures.

Osha demonstrating his mad skills.

We opened a coconut to make a bra for Ari's costume and the meat came out whole. It turned out to be fermented so Osha was terribly disappointed when he bit into it.

Ari hunted up this log to be her walking stick.

Holy bad sizing, Batman! The tie dye outfit on Shay is size 12 months. And it is supposed to be long pants. He wasn't feeling very well and got very mad when I snapped his clothes.

Ari's finished costume. She tried to be patient with Shay.

A solo picture.

Big Soren with his head control.

Babies at the park.

We tried to make Shay a swing, but he said, "Look, I can just stand up!"

Finally, the kids had some fun with some very expired Polaroid film.

The fun I missed while at work.

Parade of the hills

Before we went to the parade, Shay played on the new padded floor puzzle. We made treats so we would be less tempted at the fair. The boys slept through some crazy loud sirens and bands. The rides were great.

Happy birthday, Ari!

I took very few pictures yesterday. Ari was very excited to open tiny paper umbrellas.

Late entries

Some late entries from Sara's phone!

Somehow I forgot to caption the last picture on the last post. Shay found the cabinet. Woo hoo.
